Fancy joining a new mixed gender sports club which is fun, sociable and actually pretty good fun!? Come give Korfball a try!
We have beginners sessions on Tuesday February 7th and Tuesday 14th February at Bishops College Sports Hall, Gloucester, GL1 3LR. They start at 7.30pm and will finish at 9.30pm when we will probably retreat to the King Edward Pub!
No experience is necessary and you won't be alone - we have lots of new players who like you, had never heard of what Korfball was either!
For those interested, it is a mixed sport, so men and women play at the same time and is a bit of a hybrid between Netball and Basketball - check out this video to see how the pro's play it

Gloucester Lions socials and our matches for 2015/16 season are now available online on our calendar
Korfball is a very easy game to pick up and if you can throw, catch, and run about a bit, you should be fine. Korfball has been compared to basketball and netball over the years, but is really a unique sport in its own right, although some of the rules, for example for passing and running with the ball, are very similar to netball.
We now train on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 til 9.30 at Bishops College, Estcourt Close, Gloucester GL1 3LR.
Training costs just £5 - plus your first session is free!!!! Click here for how to find our training venue
